Elahi says Swat offensive distorting Islamabad’s image Updated at: 0709 PST, Monday, May 11, 2009
WAZIRABAD: The central leader of Pakistan Muslim League Quaid (PML-Q) Chaudhry Pervez Elahi has said the military offensive in Swat is distorting the image of Islamabad and blamed government of playing an evil game in the guise of counter insurgency in Swat.
He was talking to media after he attended the death anniversary wherein he expressed the sympathy with the son of a prominent religious scholar Sarfarz Khan over his death. Elahi asked government for call of all parties like conference in order to end external interference.
he seems to have forgotten he was THE Govt. just a few months ago for 8+ years, and didn’t say this when Musharraf was “trying” to do operations. a severe case of sour grapes…
After he and his master has done, this guy still got guts to criticize current govt. This guy has his equal share to create this disaster situation for Pakistan...
^^ The present govt has been in the govt. in the past, they never messed up so badly, it this pervaiz illahi and his master musharaf who have pushed Pakistan in this stage... having said that, i am not saying that the current leader of PPP are MASOOMEEN, they are corrupt as well but no body can beat this guy
this Elahi joker is looking to scrape whatever little bit of fame he can get from the public. as some esteemed "cyber analyst" once said PML(Q) would win overwhelmingly in 2008, but oh noooo it didn't. :)
