its lame, people trying to be all OC, but once u go to one of those partis you laugh, because they overdo it and so poorly that they are caricatures.

reminds me of classic SNL and the two wild and crazy guys.

i once saw a party going on in a van in karachi lolzzz

i’ve been wondering about this too… apparently people have swingers parties (ewwww) and parties with lots of alcohol (oh no! :rolleyes:), etc…

i've heard of such parties too.. apparently the ladies wear teeny tiny clothes and everyone drinks alcohol.. i have an iranian friend who told me the same thing happens in iran...

I dont think its hype...like you say its underground and most of the mainstream stay away...

My unis got some Karachi grammar lot and they seem to love partying and iv been told by them that their parties back home are even better...

there is nothing underground with the party scene in Pakistan, most are just gatherings where people mix and dance, just like the ones you are used to of going in US and Canada. Some, and the proportion is very low, have booze and drugs involved, again same as in US and canada. And when I say US and Canada, I am talking about desi party scene in US, Canada and Britain. Why should the Pakistanis in Pakistan be held to a higher moral standard than the Pakistanis in say US, Canada or Britain? People come in couples and some leave as couples and yes may have sex too, so? Isnt this the point of having these gatherings? Arent all parties social events to meet other people? Please do not be hypocrites in judging resident Pakistanis.

Yeh ive heard this 2…ive heard its true from some1 who was studying at my uni from Lahore years ago..i was shocked!

Well it seems to be the uni lot...they arent that much different here when they come to the UK either...they are on their drink and drugs down here aswell...they just tell me the parties are better in Karachi especially girls and drugwise...
