Party make up ideas for red dress

So i have to attend a wedding…not a close relative or friend but somebody we know. So i am wearing a red dress…i need ideas for make up to go with it should i go for red lips? and neutral eyes? i have black hair brown eyes and the wedding is an evening function. I usually wear very light makeup and a very natural look but since i just bought russain red i thought i might give it a try :smiley:

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated

dark smokey eyes and nude/pastel pink/peachy lips ?

Personally, when I wear red, I like to do nude glossy lips and a slightly smokey eye…

i save my red lips for when I wear black or white :blush:

I LOVE red lipstick!

So it depends on the outfit...if its really really heavy...you need to make sure your hair and makeup don't get drowned out.

If its party dressy then I'd do gold/brown smokey eyes...not black...brown. Then the red lips.

I personally would say don't go with bright lips. A smokey eye with a nude lip.

Yeah i agree.. i think a nude lip with smokey eyes looks the best on red outfits

I mostly wear nude lips, i use red lipstick for my casual gatherings with friends when i am notw earing anything heavy. Khatti i think red doesnt go with desi party wear as the dress is already too heavy and chances are i will end up overdoing it but i so want to try my russian red.
Can you all post pictures of ur ideas?

I think smoky eyes with transparent gloss is best, and we want picture of your russian red dress:)
