among other interesting results from the Dutch general elections, are the two seats by the Party for Animals. I think in the history of democracy this is a unique event.
as BBC states “The CDA’s coalition partners, the VVD, won 22 seats, the preliminary results showed, while the Party for Animals has taken two seats, a result which would make it the first animal rights party in a European parliament.”
any thoughts?

As time goes on.... the Dutch just get whackier and whackier. They are truly a strange people... it's the only country I know where an animal rights activist assassinated a major political leader, and now this!
