Holy moly coly… is it Indians all over the place! Wow! :k:
Regardless of the quality of opposition, this is sure a great feat by any team to be occupying 6 out of 10 slots there.
Faisal:Noway was NZ and SL team of 97 fresh out of winning the WC just a while ago was a mediocre opposition to put those partnerships against. It was just pure raw talent.

I was referring to 2 Kenyan entries up there. :p
Waisay, its not raw talent. Its really polished talent applied with a lot of hardwork and dedication. Raw talent is what we see in our end. Raw... u know.. Afridi style! :)
I think its just the reflection of how many good ODI batsmen Indians have produced.Unfotunately it didnt translate into a good winning record.
One intresting perspective though…India lost one of these macthes where they made World record of partnership. ![]()
Wait a minute! The question was about last wicket partnership. How can Sachin and Ganguly be in that? Does't last wicket partnership include aleast the #11 batsman on one end?

aravamudhan... the list by a1kashur gives the highest records for each wicket: from opening partnership to 10th wicket.
The record for biggest 10th wicket partnership is for 106 runs (unbroken) between IVA Richards & MA Holding (of West Indies) created in 1984 against England.

Faisal : he was confused with last wicket and 10th wicket. Last wicket might be any wicket depending on the innings. But normally it shud mean 10th wicket only :-)
