I agree, the acting is weak... both ayesha khan and ahsan khan. But I am curious about the story.

Yep..too filmiii..and they are really over doing the acting..both ahsan and ayesha..i am still following it because i like adnan siddiqui

i read the novel few years ago, and didn't like the story at all. it's boring for me. and drama isn't any better. i don't really like ayesha khan or ahsan khan. the story is too over the top, and as everything else too depressing.

is it just me or does Ayesha Khan need to stop acting like she's 18-20? Because she looks seriously ridiculous in the promos.

i started to watch it again. first few epis were too loud. but now at epi 6 story is getting better. however a bit too much intimacy b/w pari n david. now i'm curious abt parsa's fate after her dad's death.

Basically, after their marriage, David went back to Christianity. Because of this, there are problems in the marriage. Paarsa and David have a daughter, Mary/Maryam. Over time, Paarsa becomes a more religious Muslim and a successful doctor. I think David manages a restaurant but has ego issues because his wife is more successful, brings in more money. They grow apart. The story flashes forward to when their daughter is 18. David and Paarsa are separated, but not divorced. He leaves his wife for some gori. Mary doesn't follow a specific religion, but wants to go to Pakistan for some thesis she has to write, explore religion over there, and decide on a faith to follow. She asks her dad to take care of the mom because she's sick a lot. So David leaves the gori and wants to fix the marriage and look after Paarsa. In the mean while, Paarsa has been hiding that she's terminally ill and has cancer. Paarsa is hoping that Mary will fall for her cousin in Pakistan so that she'll be married to a Muslim, become a Muslim and so that she can face her parents after death. Paarsa's old fiance, Salman, is back in the story as well.

i'm at epi 14. pari n david hasn't separated so far but momi is 18 yrs old. oh god is she gonna get involved with salman? i hav a gut feeling. lets see.

^ yeah i get that feeling too...she might get involved with salman..sheesh!

and one thing that is BEYOND my understanding is why are they showing her wearing the hijaab even in her own house? she even sleeps with the hijab on..i understand they are portraying her as very practicing, but this is too much IMO.
