Hi guys!
Need some help. Has anyone of you ever been to paris? I have some concerns that I would like to discuss
Paris !!
Ive been a beaut city.. Expensive but worth it. What concerns?
Re: Paris !!
Amazing city, just keep your eyes peeled while crossing the roads at Arc de Triomphe. Or don't be as stupid or adventurous as me and try crossing from one of the busiest roundabouts in Paris. I did end up taking an amazing picture there however so it was worth it lol.

Use the underpass.
Re: Paris !!
Thanks for your replies guys
which place is best to stay with a toddler ?
we are confused about staying in a hotel or apartment with a kitchen since the toddler is a picky eater and we want to consume pure halal food
Re: Paris !!
Hey thanks for showing concern :)
would you mind telling how is the city? Worth visiting or not? Places to see? And where can we get halal food to eat?

I loved Paris when we went, halal food was a struggle BUT on our way to the main train station literally outside was countless halal places i had the best shawarma and fries! Was gutted only discovered on the last day as our hotel was only a few metro stops away from the central station. We did plenty of tours
-eiffel tower,
lourve - i think this deffo needs a whole day in itself there is so much to see but we got to see the infamous Mona Lisa be aware of the tourists mainly chinese japenese pushing their way with their selfie sticks abd massive cameras bless
Arc de Triomphe was deffo worth seeing especially at night.! Again the crazy traffic use the underpass. The whole street downwards is full of shops including a massive MAC lol and usual retail stores
Paris is best seen walking as much as you can. With a toddler obviously take your stroller. we stayed bed and breakfast and chose to eat out we stayed for 3 days only. There isnt much veg options if we had known about those halal restaurants before would have deffo travelled back that way.
Taxis are expensive. Use the metro.
Re: Paris !!
Paris is among the most visited cities in the world. About 80+ million tourists come here every year. So that tells you whether it is worth visiting or not.
Regarding places, if you are coming with kids then 3 or 4 day stay is fine. Solo travellers can cover the city in 2 days as well.
Paris has a large population of muslims (mostly north africans) and there are lots of option of halal food. Even in some grocery stores (dia, carrefour, simply) you can find certified halal meat/chicken products (cooked and uncooked).
The areas like Gare du Nord, Chateau d’eau have substantial Pakistani/Bangladeshi stores/restaurants where halal food is available. Near Notre Dame you can find, Tunisian, Turkish, Moroccan places to eat.
I’ve made a sticky post at http://www.paklinks.com/gs/travel-and-tourism/653625-paris-trip-guide.html providing most of the information. If you have any more questions then you can ask them here and I’ll try to answer as much as I can.

Thank you so so much, really appreciate! ![]()
Re: Paris !!
Don't forget to eat a chocolate Crepe from the streets. That on its own is worth the trip. Lots of stalls around the Eiffel Tower.
Have fun

We went to Paris by road from Italy so we enjoyed a lot because you get to see spectacular scenery along the way. We also got a chance to see Mont Blanc quite closely.
As far as food is concerned it's a city saturated with Pakistani and Turkish restaurants so halal food shouldn't be a problem.
