Parents are parents..But yeah if they do wrong they be told that they are not giving us our rights ..but the respect must be there..because they are the one's who brought us to this world. :) And they are reason of our existence... Perform your duties well towards them u ll be rewarded by Allah

You have to fulfil ur duties regarding them..if they are not doing..they will be answerable in akhirah...even if they are mushrik...you should treat them lovingly n politely..may Allah forgive n guide us Ameen

I don't think parents are "ignorant" at all but yeah sometime they may 'lack from their duties'. One must have more patience in him/herself while approaching to them while 'reminding them of their duties'. Sometime it is explained/understood in first attempt and sometime in many attempts. Patience and respect of our elders/parents is due on us all the time which should not be neglected in any circumstances.
Best way read two rakaat nafl, make dua to Almighty Allah and then approach to them.

exactly as Tahurra said. you got to do your duty and if the parents don't perform their duty, they will be answerable to Allah. you as a child will get great reweds from Allah for being good to ypur parents when they are NOT. double reward, i suppose!
forgiving your parents, if you can (at least try), will fetch you even bigger rewards. to err is human and to forgive is divine.
