Tell your parents that you want to go and travel. It is good for you to see different place. If you are excited and passionate, they will understand it.

What do your parents think is going to happen? Do they think that since you're going with a bunch of men that you're going to get freaky with all of them? Do they not trust you or do they not trust the people who work with you? This is very old fashioned and sometimes cheap mentality on part of desi parents.
If you're old enough to get a job, you're old enough to make these decisions. You need to cut the cord and move on. Make your decisions and live with your decisions. Some times these overbearing desi parents can damage their children.

I hear such complaints from young desis all the time about their parents. Such things stem from trust deficit between parents and their kids. You need to face up to the truth: Your parents don't trust you.
What have you done to establish a relationship of trust with your parents? Do they consider you trust worthy?
From a parent's perspective, I know parents from desi countries who let their daughters pursue careers out of country simply because they trusted their daughters.
Obviously you have a choice to move out and live your own life as well. I neither advocate it nor oppose it, it's something that's better left to the individual to decide according to their abilities and circumstances.

sis, you should go follow your career aspirations, and the ffact that you will be on your own, will help you grow personally. just stay away from shady people in a foreign place. have your own private living place, an AC equipped car :)
it depends how long is your assignment and when you will beable to call and/or come home from tme to time.
with women, parents get panicked or nevous as the world has many hidden or obvious threatening situations and characters around.
so, that is why making your parents comfortable about this move.

I knowwww well its not exactly "cheap mentality" but yeah they r still narrowminded..........i know they trust me cuz of many reasons n they not sending me to egypt dusnt mean they dont trust me...maybe they fear the ppl arnd me n yea FYI am not going wid men i might be going alone........

yeah rite trust tau non-desi parents hi kartay hain “ooper ooper say” ander say they fear that their kids might marry a non muslim or just move out …if this is the trust ur parents have on u guys i guess my parents not having trust on me is fine…
