I know what u mean. I some time wake up at night and feel this fear in me....I moved away from my parents 4 years ago when I got married. I had to face many realities myself as a grown up married woman and felt how protected it is to have parents.
My worst fear is to loose my parents and I always pray for their health and long life. However I also try to prepare myself for that shock and try to figure out how I should deal with it...I have several times cried alone cuz I thought about it...living abroad without parents and family around isnt easy. I feel I am being deprived of good memories that I can have with them....I just feel I was acting like a bad tameez daughter when I lived home...so many issues back the..now they are solved but my parents are so far away...I try to help them out financially cuz that is kind of the only thing I can do from a distance when they are in debt....
life is strange.....
