Actually , I agree with Waterfall , parents always do whats best for their child , but its eventually the child who will be living his/her life with the spouse .. so he/she should have a major say in this decision.
those parents who simply cant take no for an answer arent being very fair with their child… Even the religion encourages the parents to talk to the daughter particularly to ask her will for a particular proposal before finalizing it.
marriage should be a unanimous decision between all the parties involved …
