comeon..we ned to b educated on how to treat our kids...coz KAl hum parents banain gaye..:P..and we need to prepare ourselves for dat:)..and not ruin our kids lives ..aur saari zindaagi k liyee unko khud se alag nahi ker sakhtay..i knw this anty..she always mourns over de fact k she wasnt treated fairly in her family..Parents ne kuch taannay diyee they k tumharay liyee rishtay nahi miltay..tab se she believes she believes she's not pretty at all..even though she IS SO PREETY MASHALLAH..jab bhi hum kehtey hain k she's so pretty she thinks...we r joking..yes her other sisters were even more prettier...likan She's also very pretty..MAshallah
but she's left hurt purii zindagi k liyee..she lost her self esteem

I think there is something called being over prepared! yes its great to have a good idea as to how you want to raise your kids and what values you want to instill in them but sometimes overplanning it kills the whole fun in raising kids. Being a parent can also be a learning process, We are all humans. YOu can never plan everything from before hand, the best thing to do is give kids a loving environment and teach them good from bad. kids need to be taught along the way as they encounter different things in different stages of their lives.
Btw i havent read all of your posts in this thread so i apologise if iv got it wrong but some of things you say have nothing to do with parenting skills...

i am not over prepared..ine mamlon main koi kabhi over prepared nahi hosakhta...lol..ofcourse fun tu hoga ..aur excitement...it doesnt kill it..coz i have no idea woh sab kaisay hongaye ..per i do have an idea k problems ko deal kerney k liyee kiya kerna chahyee..and i dont wanna repeat the same mistakes as other parents....coz i ahve seen some kids jo toot chukay hain..aur ander se khaali hain..khair western socities main buhut hai ..especially Canada main.....

Something that I've experienced time and time again is that all my planning, all my ideas about how I would raise my kids just didnt apply, didnt work or needed to be different than how I pictured it. There are many good parenting "tips" here. But I think for the most part, those are things that most parents just do without really thinking about it. The challenges come in day-to-day life. Give in ONCE to a stubborn toddler and you create a potential monster.
The BEST tip I EVER learned is that "Trying to control a child by yelling is the same as trying to drive a car by honking its horn." I have tested this theory a couple of times when I was at my wit's end and its SO true!
Another one is to live and BE the way that you want your child to be. Set the example for them because you ARE what they want to be.

If parents differentiate between kids, it may be coz the younger ones are vulnerable and may get influenced by others easily. To be more explicit- drugs, alcohol etc. Otherwise for parents all kids are alike :)
