Have any of you joined any parenting boards, forums, support groups, etc?
I joined a support group for Clubfoot Moms on Facebook when Deen was born…I found a lot of information that way and understood it better over time.
Where did you find the most help?
There are so many forums and resources now (Alhumdulillah) but where do you go for the best advice?

Brown Mommies Unite on fb! No-judgement group where you can ask the silliest of questions and get a ton of encouragement from other desi mommies

Yes, that's actually a cool group - more for Central Jersey though right?

No, it's for desi moms all over the world actually. There could be a separate "Brown Mommies - Central Jersey" group as well, though.
Also, not a forum, but we found the book Mayo Clinic Guide to Baby's First year incredibly useful.. more so in the initial months as newbie parents. I love it because it is written in a very matter-of-fact non preachy, non patronizing way by doctors who practice at the Mayo clinic. I've almost always found the right answer in that book. They also have a similar book on pregnancy. Love that as well.
