you can ask the true value from those whom have lost their parents and miss them, after seeing those people to whom Allah has given this blessing for such a long time, and they treat them like this. It reminds me of what Allah said in Surat Al-`Aşr (The Declining Day)

Indeed, mankind is in loss,

Jannat lies under the feet of mother
Father is the doorway to jannat

We have given a big hint, but still :(
