Paratha vs. Haath Ki Roti

How are the two different?

Paratha vs. Haath Ki Roti

Paratha is layered and is oiled…haath ki roti/chapati is dry, softer and thinner..at least in my family that’s how it is

Re: Paratha vs. Haath Ki Roti

Can I have a good paratha recipe then? I know how to make haath ki roti, but not a paratha

Re: Paratha vs. Haath Ki Roti

you may buy good quality plain frozen paraThaas from any Indo-Pakistani store…upon heating, they are as good as freshly made.

they carry assorted varieties of flavoured paraaThaas. Shanna is one of the brands.

Paratha vs. Haath Ki Roti

Bajia’s cooking on YouTube has some excellent and easy to follow tutorial videos…I think I saw one here on GS too once

I have yet to find a frozen one that is as good as a freshly home made paratha

Re: Paratha vs. Haath Ki Roti

NOT exactly, but very close…it’s worth saving the time and energy in making one!..right?

Regular paratha or warqi paratha which is layered?

Btw haath ki roti also have versions from the generic roti, to phulka, chappati, rumali roti/chapati etc.

Yum
