Just ask them to pick up after themselves. As long as they think you will do everything for them, they will continue behaving like slobs.

Re: Parasitic relatives
We Pakistanis dont pick up after overselves. Back home we are rich and have servants to do such things. Why dont you hire some help around the house when we are visiting? ![]()

Re: Parasitic relatives
I love how some guests think your home is their personal Bed and Breakfast Inn. Have him pitch in the chores and bring up paying rent.

Re: Parasitic relatives
Remind him of the Arab proverb (say it in Arabic, he'll think you're quoting Quran) "guests are like fish, after three days they start to smell."
Re: Parasitic relatives
I have experienced a few of these, and some whom i disliked, i told them in their face, to get lost. A few i had to bear, for the services of their parents to my family.
Re: Parasitic relatives
Guests are guests, Ms Daisy. A muslim will entertain his/her guests for whatever duration and will not show any displeasure (i am assuming here that you are muslim). The longer you let him stay around the more sawab you get. And thats no joke.
Sincerely,
Captain Lota
Re: Parasitic relatives
^ Guests have obligations too, like don't be a pain in the ass for your hosts.
