im mashallah exepcting again as you all know, am 10 weeks preg, and im paranoid to be honest. i wasnt this paranoid last time, i am now. not sure why, its extremely hot in pak, as well as havn a 9month old baby who i pick up and am holding her, shes a heavy weight. im scared about my pending scan in 2 weeks…im hoping eveything will be ok, but i keep getting scared esp when i pick up my child…i didnt have her last time i was preg so i wasnt picking up anything heavy. just uber worried, time just stands still here :

As far as I have read carrying your baby doesnt cause miscarriage.. one because your body is already used to it and its not something you are doing that you wont do normally.. and also I have heard the weight limit is 35 pounds!

Gtg is right... Any weight ure body is used to lifting can be conti ued to be lifted during pregnancy...My son is 2 and i am nearing my final tri... I lift him daily.... No issues at all... Now if i had a medical condition that didnt allow me to lift any weight during pregnancy, that would be diff... So dont worry... Its all good.

I lifted my second girl all the times during pregnancy, even till the end and no issues AH ...

I lifted my older kid, (at that time 2 yrs old) all the time and no issues. Lifting up your child doesn't cause a miscarriage, if it did nobody could have had a second :)

yeh i know, thanks guys, but its just my MIL worries me, if i pick her up sometimes maybe not in the appropriate action such as rather then bending at the knees il just bend and pick her up and MIL will go off on one saying i shouldnt pick her up that way, not good, so thats why im asking....

Ure mil is right.... Listen to her. U bend at the k ees and keep ure back straight... Put load on the heels... It shouldnt be ure belly bearing the load.

i know shes righ, thats why im paranoid, cos sometimes i forget to pick her up properly....
