I have heard some Delhi walas speak, which has some Punjabi tinge. Lahore is urbanized, hence you can say that there are some differences with rural Punjab.

It seems that both the cities are dominated by Northern Indian culture than Punjab’s culture. The difference kept on widening with the passage of time and as you said urbanisation of the area.
