Paradise Point

In May 2010, I went to Paradise Point with my cousins.. It was Monday so there was no rush of people on the beach and it looked quite awesome. Some pics from the visit

Re: Paradise Point

aaah that arch is broken now? :(

Re: Paradise Point

^ Decent, its broken since ages.. :(

:(

its been more than 12/13 years that I have been to Paradise Point. Although we still do one large family picnic whenever we are visiting Pakistan but it has diverted to overnight stay at some farm outside Karachi.

that arch had so many memories attached to it. From my childhood to before moving to US :(

Re: Paradise Point

hmm i can understand the memories attached to places where we enjoy most or feel so soothing.. :hugz: stay happy..

Re: Paradise Point

Thanks for liking the pics :) and redi you're right its great to visit the seaside in non-rush hours. Its so clam :)

Yep the arch has been broken several years back but I remember watching it when it was not broken (I was a little kid at that time). The powerful waves got it.. And I'm afraid someday waves might erode the remaining part too.. Authorities should make a plan to save it from collapsing.. by filling with concrete or something like this..

One thing I couldn't understand either that why they have concreted the whole beach of Paradise point? whats the theory behind it?

:k:

Re: Paradise Point

Wow really very good pictures!

Will you do a favour to us?

July is coming and hopefully we will have good rains, once it rains more than 3 inches in a day, the Lyari River would be flooded, can you then travel and take photos?

Re: Paradise Point

Wow,,, thanks for the lovely pictures and special thanks to bringing back all the good memories :)...

Thank you :)

If I'll be in Karachi then sure, I'll do that for u.. I'm going to Kaghan valley this sunday and after returning I'll probably spend a couple of weeks in Lahore..

Lets hope it rains in the end of July..

Glad my pictures brings back fond memories :)
