westerners, on the otherhand, insist on using toilet paper. i’ve even encounterd some canadian raised desis who prefer using the roll. wierd yet, i know a pakistani raised gora who prefers water.
there has been much debate for, and against, both modes. whats your opinion? in terms of pros and cons.

And for the others, use a lota or a “muslim shower” or those seats which sprays from underneath. Its like a secondary comode but with a fountain. And ofcourse you gotta dry off with paper towels unless you want wedgies or damp feeling.

If you've ever used one you'll notice the fountain is ample pressure compared to lota but it is advised to use your hand as a secondary source for utmost hygiene. The advantages of a bidet is that it avoids splash back unlike the comode where there is a danger of splashes.

I prefer your method. If I cannot get my hands on a lotta, then I do this: take lots of tp and dampen it with water. I’m thinking about getting a portable lotta, something like a portable glass… any idea where I can get one?

look up the garden center in any home improvement store. like home depot or something. they have quite a variety of plastic lotas. theyre intended ofcourse for watering plants but not limited to that

If paper alone could clean then we would be washing dishes ,bathing,car washing,etc.etc. with papers.
