Papaya

I’ve heard that papaya works great as a tenderize for beef or lamb, has anyone ever tried it with chicken? I would like to make chicken boti on the grill but it’s never tender.

Havnt ever used papaya but my uncle soaks chicken in milk for a few hours and his chickren always comes out nice and tender. He only does it when he BBQing his chicken though. He soaks it in milk, then marinates and then cooks.

I have tried papaya several times and its justttttttttttttt great as a tenderizer for chicken!!!

I've read that cutting chicken in small/thin peaces and using an acid such as lime juice makes the meat really tender. I don't know about grilling.....but when I make a stir fry...that's what I do....and it turns out super tender, MA.

maybe keep basting it with marinade or oil to stop it drying out.
