Re: Panjeeri
I dont like panjeeri myself but pinniyan (laddoo type) are goooood. I was once given to try one from an aunty and said it was good for me, I think I delivered recently or was about too, well anyway it was delicious.

I think her’s is the best recipe I found on the internet. I know she uses a lot of oil but I will try to reduce it by half and if you eat only one a day it should not matter much, will eat it instead of other sugary stuff. Also want to give my kids. InsahAllah will cook soon.
Re: Panjeeri
the area I belong to they use
cheer
kamar kus
only soji
and nuts
nothing else
they grind all the things mix them and make a halwa
the video was helpful thanx :k:
Re: Panjeeri
before reading about this, I never knew about things like edible gum, kamarkas, makhana, i am curious to know their benefits and taste.
Re: Panjeeri
They taste bland, apparently help with back pain, etc.
Re: Panjeeri
You don’t make a halwa, it is all grainy and dry in texture.
Re: Panjeeri
halwa meaning mix it up.
also it is given to children in northern areas during winters to keep them healthy and warm
by adding or some other things
