Paneer Samosa/Sping rolls

When making paneer spring rolls, do need to do anything to the paneer first (fry/bake)?
And what else can u put in with the paneer??

I have never used paneer in my spring rolls. A friend of mine uses feta cheese in bread rolls, and if i am correct, paneer has the same consistency as the feta cheese. She usually sautees chopped onion, adds feta cheese, salt and pepper and just uses that as a filling for her turkish dish. I would assume, you can also add veggies such as peas, grated carrots, potatoes etc, slightly precooked ofcourse.

Ive already done my research - looks like its just me and you!

^^ i like paneer (mozerella , Ricota, Cream cheese):yummy: :yummy:

But do u love it?

Yes I love it alone or adding it Moz(in sandwich, pizza, even rice and pasta)
Ricotta alone or all kind of desserts :yummy: :yummy: My mathor made Ras gullas out of it and they were so good :biggthumb Gajer ka halwa also taste fantastice when u put ricotta in place of “khoya” (be sure to use “italian” not “indian” ricotta)

My mom used to make this wierd dessert with italian ricotta cheese. The bottom layer is crushed gram crackers, then ricotta, pineapples, clementines, walnuts. I think that's the full recipe, have to ask her. It sounds like an odd mix, but it's addictive. I think the pineapples were canned and in syrup because the ricotta also took on a sweet and fluffy texture.

Re: Paneer Samosa/Sping rolls

I quite like the idea of making a paneer and spinach filling for spring rolls…I don’t think that you’d need to fry the paneer first as it should cook when you fry the spring rolls anyway.
