According to the Middle East Observer, Isaac Herzog, member of the Knesset and Chairman of the Israeli Labor party, revealed that Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz financed the election campaign of Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu. “In March 2015, King Salman has deposited eighty million dollars to support Netanyahu’s campaign via a Syrian-Spanish person named Mohamed Eyad Kayali. The money was deposited to a company’s account in British Virgin Islands owned by Teddy Sagi, an Israeli billionaire and businessman, who has allocated the money to fund the campaign Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu”, Herzog cited a leaked Panama Paper. Al Masdar News is a Syrian government controlled propaganda outlet that has been spouting lies about what's going on in Syria's civil war for years, so it's not surprising that it would lie about one of the main backers of the opposition to Bashar Al Assad's brutal dictatorship.
In fact not a single one of the links contained at the end of the article that purport to be the relevant parts of the Panama Papers actually contains anything related to the article's claims.
The "journalist" behind it just wrote a pack of lies, "backed it up" with a few links that actually just go to generic pages about the Panama papers, and successfully manages to deceive gullible fools such as the kind of idiots that I've seen posting this article on facebook and internet forums.
