Palmistry

Have you ever had your hand read? Is there any truth to it whatsoever?

Re: Palmistry

It's shirk, so no.

What truth should be in it? Palm lines keep changing throughout life...

Re: Palmistry

No
and
NO

and its pure bull excreta

Re: Palmistry

You really think a bunch of lines can change your future or holds sway of your fate? Seriously? Think about it, you have an all loving God who created you and gave you FREE WILL in this world to do either good or bad. You have virtually unlimited potential to do what you please in this world. Allah being your protector is there to guide you but you have to make the decisions which path you have to take. For Allah is ever all watchful. You can't let a bunch of lines or positions of the stars determine what you can and can't do! You decide what you can and can't do!

Example:

1992, Melbourne Australia, Cricket world cup Final. Pakistan Vs England, Imran Khan a 39 year old veteran (Basically old man) cricketer goes in # 3rd as a batsman. Imran Khan at the end of his career plagued with injuries MAKES a decision to go at # 3 and bats. Imran khan makes 70 odd runs and sets his team in a good position. Pakistan later win the world cup.

This is the decision Imran Khan made. He knew he was old he knew he couldn't bat he knew he had injuries. But he didn't let that get in his way. He MADE the decision and played and won. That is the human potential, once you think nothing can stop you NOTHING will!

Re: Palmistry

No and no.

Re: Palmistry

I think as much about palmistry as I do about astrology... which would be nothing. I was just looking for some stories like the ones in the supernatural threads. Thought people might have some. I disappoint, people! :(

Re: Palmistry

Once in town this Indian guy stopped me and claimed he can read forheads -_-

I said that I dont believe in it and as I walked away, he started yelling that he can read on my forhead that I am a very lucky person and my life wil be very very lucky -_-''

Re: Palmistry

I don't really believe it but when I was younger two different ppl read mine and both said I had a short life line..

That apparently meant I would not live long or that my life would change drastically earlier (not sure if in a good way or bad)..

Re: Palmistry

Mistry is a pal of mine

Re: Palmistry

I read it as paa mistry :D

Re: Palmistry

Ok well here goes...
I used to study in a small village in India. One day while I was out smoking, a fortune teller came and started saying things about 5 of us standing there. We chased him away. Recently we had a reunion(10 years after college) and one guy brought this topic up. When we exchanged notes, it was as if the fortune teller was on the dot for most of what he said. It was really scary. This guy did not read our hands. He just looked at our faces and began. That is what irritated all of us then.

I was cynical before the reunion about astrology and all that. It was just that the events happened in life exactly as this guy mentioned. I did not relate to it when it happened, but now when I relate I am really scared.

Re: Palmistry

well my point of u is destiny cant be changed and future is in ur hands.
palmistry lines tell u the difficulties or may be something abut married life etc. and astrology helps u in finding which thing is best for u. that help in making ur future gud. like if u r student which field will be gud or can do best efforts.
belive it or no, cant say wt they tell u is completly right, but some how they help u. and know wts better for u is nt shirk.

Re: Palmistry

last year in karachi i was at an outdoor mall(ish) type place with some cousins and one of them insisted I do it just for laughs (as there was a stand there with a palmist). I can't even remember now what was said, but most of it was just general conjecture and guesses. So nope, don't believe in it.

Re: Palmistry

My cousin got it do done several years ago and most of it was rubbish like you will be rich and live in a big house, but we always tease her as he said she will have 4 kids, 2 sons and 2 daughters. At that time she only had 1 son but now she is 3/4 of the way there!

Re: Palmistry

Once a really black looking guy came up to me, mind you not African black but like really really black. Like as if he rubbed black paint on his face. I was spooked at first but then he said he would give me a "goti" which was a small round stone that would increase my wealth. He said he would give me if i gave him 100 rupees. I only had 500 rupees in my pocked and i said "Baba 400 rupay wapas dou" LMAO and he looked at me for a while then walked away.

Re: Palmistry

^^
If he had that "Goti", he could have become rich himself instead of begging for Rs 100...

Re: Palmistry

No.

Will never go for it either since its all false....this whole palmistry thing.

Re: Palmistry
