Palm reading, Star signs, crystal ball, tarot cards, fortune telling in any form IS SHIRK, attributing one of the powers of Allah to something / someone else. Only Allah knows your future and we shouldn't try to be like God. Shirk is the one thing that Allah says will not be forgiven, SO KEEP AWAY from such things. Also, as an aside, I do believe I have read that your salat/namaz will not be counted for 40 days afterwards, that means 40 days worth, not don't do it for 40 days!

i did it for fun twice once when i was about 17/18 and once just recently a couple of months ago, the most recent reading told alot of truths about me as a person, my personality my likes dislikes. she told me alot of things some of them could possibly be comming true in the next few weeks :@: lekin lets see what hapens

Once someone read my hand in college, just before was coming to the US. He told me the exact age at which I would be getting married, the circumstances and the outcome. All correct.
It could've been a fluke. I don't know. I prefer not to believe in these things but sometimes just for the heck of it it's fun!

i do believe that palmistry and astrology etc exists and its true, but i dont go to these ppl cuz its forbidden in Islam, even for fun.
all these things are great fun and traditionally every college girls enjoyed them at least when i was in college. i remember "Cairo's" books were even in our college library. we use to look for girls with square hands a lot as according to ' Cairo' those are the hand shapes of murderers and crocks. we admired girls with conical hands as they were supposed to be artsy. i myself have enjoyed astrology. not as much as a future predictor cause i think an astrologer is as much correct as a weatherman but as identifying personalities. i really believe that they are on the mark about that kind of stuff. usually if you study you family members over time you realize that astrology makes sense.
