TV chanels pe aaj kal tarot cards bhi pick karte hein is tht okay or not?
And if not why not?
Me in person don’t believe in tarot lekin i’m wondering bout palmistry

i don't know about the exact reference but it is forbidden in islam
because it all works on guess work
these are sometime correct because , most people use them as database intelligence, ie one thing happen with 1000 peoples and somehow they share the same shape of line on palm so the next person with that similar line should also go through that phase etc
but that is not more then 50 % correct

Activities like these are silly and a waste of time, hence we are told to steer clear:

وَمِنَ النَّاسِ مَنْ يَشْتَرِي *لَهْوَ الْحَدِيثِ *لِيُضِلَّ عَنْ سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ بِغَيْرِ عِلْمٍ وَيَتَّخِذَهَا هُزُوًا أُولَئِكَ لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ مُهِينٌ
YUSUFALI: But there are, among men, those who purchase idle tales, without knowledge (or meaning), to mislead (men) from the Path of Allah and throw ridicule (on the Path): for such there will be a Humiliating Penalty.
PICKTHAL: And of mankind is he who payeth for mere pastime of discourse, that he may mislead from Allah's way without knowledge, and maketh it the butt of mockery. For such there is a shameful doom.
SHAKIR: And of men is he who **takes instead frivolous discourse **to lead astray from Allah's path without knowledge, and to take it for a mockery; these shall have an abasing chastisement.

ie in normall companies software with database intelligence are installed
by knowing the trends and activities they help in future management and they are mostly very accurate
should we call them as Ilm e Ghaib as well and should we call them haram as well

Hazrat Ali (rehmatulaah) adviced not to indulge oneself in activities such as palmistry and fortune telling .. b/e it is a kind of shirk , no one in this world is as great as Allah - to know the future etc.
and for your satisfaction , a friend of mine saw and depicted those things which were somehow connected wid my life
on the other hand another girl depicted something that never ever existed in my life and she herself said that she could read palms better than every one else

Just to clarify. Ilm of fortune telling exist in true form, with the will of Allah SWT. Because it exist, that is why it is restricted.
Quran and Hadees talk about the incident when fortune tellers of Pheros predicted the birth of a boy (moses) who will over turn the kingdom of pheros.
One form of fortune telling is allowed in Islam (if you call it fortune telling) is the interpratation of dreams. But that should only be done by a very knowledgable person.

^ohh yes , fortune telling also possible through witchcraft, though forbidden ,
there is another waqiya , heard it from some one 
not sure about it ,
a women from some distant branch of quraish with her witch craft found out that Hazrat Muhammad :saw: will be the son of Hazrat Abdullah . before his birth ,
she tried her best and many times proposed Hazrat Abdullah , so that his son would be hers.

All I will say is that statistical predictions on data and patterns is different from fortune-telling, which has no data gathering and study involved. As long as people understand this difference, all is merry and well otherwise we will have to carry our unmberallas with us all the time.

similary people who believe in palmistry use to claim that same event happend to group of people having thoes certain lines and based on this assumption a person having falan falan line will pass through such event
based on this claim it is very very close to database intelligence
