Israel survived because its parent states Britain and US have supported it throughout and give it more ammunition than a state its own size should ever need.
Don't forget of Israel's nuclear arsenal which has probably more than a 1,000 nukes. Read up on the Samson option which is a part of Israel's military doctrine.
It's very simple. Genocide is a part of Israeli policy and they need it to survive.
