Arabs are like Indians. They feel "quite wrongly" that their "much smaller" neighbor divided their motherland.
Pakistanis are like Israelis. We have to fight for our existence on 24 hour basis against 10-20 times bigger hostile neighbor.
One positive situation in case of India is that it has "begrudgingly" accepted the international border of Pakistan. Arabs have not been as smart.
Hopefully one day when India will accept the reality of the disputed border in Kashmir, things will turn for the positive. That day Indians will truly prove that they are really really smart compared to Arabs.

The real question is not the creation of a Palestinian state, but which borders ? What Palestinian people suggest as borders is immediately rejected ! Israel has never been satisfied of the borders which were proposed to it, Israel wasn't satisfied of the borders of 1946, nor the 1947 ones, nor the 1948 ones, nor the 1967 ones, nor the 2005 ones ...

I am not Pakistani, not at all ! I am from Moroccan (Berberian, Morocco has a majority of Berberian people even if arabic is one of the two main languages) and Herati origins ! And you know what ? My ancestors were....JEWISH !
Because the family of my father is a very old and rich berberian-andalusian family who was Jewish before becoming Muslim (there are still some Jewish in my family, if you know History, you must know that there are a lots of Jews in Morocco from Andalusian origin mainly ) !

If Israel has achieved anything in the latest onslaught in Gaza, it is to stir up yet more Anti-Israel sentiment throughout the world, including non-muslim nations. Palestine has been realized, rather than lost (as thread starter put it). Should Israel continue on this path, it will only continue to create more enemies than it can handle. Its aggressive and often uncalled for atrocities bring it no good name.
Then again, a bully and his buddies don't really care for love of others.

Why do you think Israel has survived all these years ? It is ONLY due to the fear that it has instilled in its hostile neighbors about what the repercussions of attacking Israel could be. And it has to keep up the fear perception by making sure that any kind of violence against it, is dealt with a firm (sometimes disproportionately so) hand.

In order for Israel to be completely secure, they NEED to kill all Palestinians, man, woman and child and that includes those Palestinians who are Israeli citizens.
But it doesn't end there. There are another 700 million Arabs to deal with and kill.
