I thought game of chance was illegal in Islam. Look at the Palestinians they got their queue from American Indians. Should the Ummah tell them to do something about it? or look the other way.

I copied and pasted for you patsy’s.
At the Oasis Casino, adjoining the hotel, the lights of the 285 slot machines were flashing Tuesday for the benefit of the journalists who descended on Jericho. “The big question for us is whether Israel will allow Israelis to come back here,” says general manager Brett Anderson. A snack menu in Hebrew from four years ago is still posted. An average of 3,000 people visited the casino daily, and the figure rose to about 7,000 on Israeli holidays, says Mr. Anderson. The casino - owned by the Palestinian Authority and Austrian investors - employed 1,600 Palestinian workers making it the largest private employer of Palestinians in the West Bank.
Re: Palestinian Indians,Gambling and Islam
I've heard some people say its alright to receive interest but not to pay interest. Gambling can work along the same lines too.

Re: Palestinian Indians,Gambling and Islam
^^ No not according to GS scholars ribaa is Haram and the one taking it is a harami. Does that mean all palestinians are harami's?
Re: Palestinian Indians,Gambling and Islam
I don't know abot all but the Palesntian Authority certainly are for gambling off the 2 square feet of land the poor people were cooped up in.
Re: Palestinian Indians,Gambling and Islam
Verizon, in Urdu illegitimate child is called Harami, not one who takes riba.
Ummah should also tell UAE and other Islamic countries to ban alochol cuz it's haram too and anyone who drinks it is harami.

Re: Palestinian Indians,Gambling and Islam
Oh I See I used the Pakistan=Pakistani so Haram=Harami analogy. Alcohol is not haram it is just prohibited thats all. But anyway going back to Paly shouldn't the Ummah be in an uproar over this or let it go?
Re: Palestinian Indians,Gambling and Islam
it makes one thing clear though nothings changed much in 1400 years. the ummah is still being ruled by a bunch of haramis.
