I finally have to stick my two cents in. That is a ridiculous statement. There is no doubt in my mind that somewhere on this planet there is probably a Muslim who has trashed a bible. I’m sure there is a Christian somewhere who has trashed a Koran too.

You can’t logically just make such a broad generalization about any large group of people as you have done. That’s the problem with Muslims. They all generalize and refuse to accept that someone who is Muslim can do something terrible. They just deny any and every event where another Muslim does something that is haram.

I never said each and every muslim, did i?

In pakistan alone, muslims of various sects have trashed Quran. Someone might not call them muslims, but ppl have.

I was talking with respect to how general muslims view Bible.

And we r not talking about a general christian trashing Quran. I am talking specifically about US army trashing Quran in prisons detaining muslims terrorist suspects.

If u compare the two odds, u can guess, which one is getting the more weightage

How do you know the Pentagon is truthful or not?

The answer is, under the Geneva Conventions each prisoner is seen privately by the Red Cross. If there are problems the Red Cross brings it up with the captors. If the situation is not corrected, the Red Cross exposes the problems to the press. There is independent oversight at Guantanamo. If there were severe problems there the Red Cross would scream it to the world.

BTW, GB is not under Geneva conventions. There are some reasons why prisoners r detained outside USA.

^ mainly so the courts have little to no jurisdiction, thereby reducing the outside outlets (press, lawyers, rights) needed by the detainee's there.
