I'll make bhuna hua chicken, then boil the palak, grind it in a blender and add to the chicken salan and there you go, chicken palak.

Here is Chips6's Palak Chicken Recipe :
first take about a 1-1.5 lbs of boneless chicken breast and cut it in small cubes.
then in a pot heat some oil,and fry those chicken pieces.....just for a few mins.....after about 5 to 10 mins remove the chicken.
in the same oil add the following=
2 medium sized chopped onions
salt(as to taste)
red chillies(acc to taste)
1/4 tsp zeera
1/4 tsp haldi(if u use it otherwise leave it)
1/2 tsp ground coriander powder(sookha dhania)
crushed garlic
crushed ginger(i like a lot of ginger in spinach....u can use as much as u like)
1 stick of cinnamon
to all this add 2 boxes of frozen spinach(thaw them and then blend in a blender first then add)
1 tsp of dried kasuri methi leaves
3 or 4 fresh green chillies
half a cup of yogurt
let it all cook on slow flame for some time....when almost done, add a few tbsp of butter and the already fried chicken pieces to it.....let it cook for a few more mins(15 mins i'd say....just dont let the chicken get tooo tender that it falls apart).....ready....!!
Re: Palak Chicken
yup ... Chipsie's recipe looks brilliant ... this is how i make it :
Thinly slice an onion and fry in oil, when done, add half tsp ginger and half tsp garlic , continue frying, then add in chicken pieces and fry ... after it changes color add in salt and red chilli powder .. stir and when the chicken is nearly 50% done ( the water dries out completely and oil separates ) add in tomatos three of them cubed ... stir some more and finally add in the spinach ... I normally use baby spinach which immediatly reduces in size the minute it hits the pot .. but if you are using the large leaves then make sure you boil and blend them in a blender and add them at this stage into the chicken ..
Lower the heat, cover the lid and let the spinach and chicken cook .. when thewater has dried out , takes about 20-25 minutes on medium heat ... the salan is ready .. sprinkle some fersh corriander and green chillies and enjoy ...
