Can West Indies become the only non-Asian team to enter the semi-finals? They seemed all set to do so, with Pakistan 57 for 5, but an outstanding hundred from Umair Masood, and excellent support from Salman Fayyaz in a 164-run sixth-wicket stand, raised their score to a fighting 227. Pakistan have shown before that they have an attack that can defend that sort of total. This should be a fascinating chase.

Sameen Gul to Imlach, no run, appeal for lbw, but looks like there was a thin inside edge. Else there was no reason for the umpire to give that not out. Well, well, replays suggest there was no bat. Close call, Imlach is lucky to survive
