Ok jokes apart Pakistan has yet to win a tournament at home. Ranjit Fernando was speaking how Sri Lanka is a big match team.They certainly did prove him right. Well they did play well and Pakistan lost Inzimam and Youhana too early.
For a change we cannot blame our top order. young openers and Malik gave us a solid platform. For a change our middle order did not produce the goods.
Regarding Inzimam, sometimes his captaincy can be so moronic on the field. He just goes through the motios and waits for things to happen automatically rather than make them happen.
We have shown progress under Woolmer, but still a long way to go.
I dont regret that I missed the match because of my neend. I already had a dream that Pak will lose. Pak doesn't have a good history in finals. There goes another example.

somehow i felt jaysuria deserved the man of the match…
the pitch was easy and pakistan shud have made the target easily…
it was only cuz of jaysuria that sri lanka won this one…
i really dont agree with the decision to give MoM to sangakara…
but malik deserved the man of the series award… :k:
he has been phenomenal with both bat and ball…
and is right up to the fielding standards (certainly much higher than pak fielding standards anyway)…
I went to sleep after SL innings.
This time our middle order let us down. Now our team is developing as chokers. Inzi really has some mystery thoughts in the field at times. I missed earlier parts of Pakistan fielding, but Rana’s stats showed 7-29 while others were more expensive, specially idiot like Sami who can’t bowl at the death of inning… he always gifts some full tosses… and Inzi gives ball to guess who? Sami off course. shabashi hay Inzi. The way they were letting them take singles was so pathetic 
What can I say, everything has already been said before. This is an all too familiar sight. As a fan one can only wonder how many more painful defeats like this will we have to bear before this team actually starts winning the big games.

Why the heck sangakaara was declared man of tha match when jaysuria took 5 wickets. Can any one please tell me? I didn't see the game. Just saw the result.
the match was fixed…
Sangakkara made 68 from same number of balls and did two stumps and one catch. Both the stumps were big wickets. Thats why he was given MOM.

we lost to sri lanka in asia cup in such a shameful way, then we lost ICC's semifinal to west indies in such a shameful way and today, we lost Paktel Cup's final to srilanka in such a shameful way......
the only progress we have made in last 3 months is that we have beaten india 3 times...other than that we are all same.....and what is really disturbing that we are losing without putting up a fight as usual....i mean we are just the same....extremely in-consistent.....we will play 2 great matches and then a total disaster....a total disaster......what a shame.....so who took the CUP..sri lanka....
