Well, Pakistan is expected to win again, but hopefully our top order batsmen will take responsibility this time.
Youhana will lead the team tomorrow. Younis Khan, Misbah, Sami and Kamral Akmal are expected to replace Inzi, Razzaq, Shoaib and Moin respectively. Reports say that though Bob Woolmer is not high on Kamran Akmal, he has had enough of Moin's performances.
Most probable line up for tomorrows match:
Bazid
Yasir
Malik
Youhana
Younis
Misbah
Afridi
Akmal
Naveed
Iftikhar
Sami
Go Pakistan ![]()

**-I don't think Younis will get a chance, Razzaq will play the 2nd ODI. In fact there is no place for Younis in the team, Younis can hardly bat, he can't bowls or he doesn't want to bowl.
- Bob should give the ball to Yasir & Bazid, I heard Bazid is good off-spinner, I think couple overs in the middile of the innings will not be bad idea.
- Bob will keep Malik @3, I think Bob should give him couple more chances before move him down the order.
- Abdul Razzaq can also be tried @ 4, 5 -- he is good allrounder.
- Afridi is a great slogger and best @ 6, 7 or 8**
01 Yasir
02 Bazid
03 Malik
04 Yohanna
05 Misbah
06 Razzaq
07 Afridi
08 Akmal
09 Rana Naveed
10 sami
11 Roa Iftikhar
One-day series, Peshawar: Pakistan v Zimbabwe](BBC SPORT | Cricket | Pakistan claim nervy win)
**Pakistan are contemplating changes for the second game of their triangular series against Zimbabwe and Sri Lanka. **
**Skipper Inzamam-ul-Haq could miss the match against Zimbabwe in Peshawar in order to rest a groin injury and keeper Moin Khan has flu.
They are also looking to bring in pace bowler Mohammad Sami after he sat out Thursday’s 144-run victory over the same opponents. **
“We’ll give a chance to all the 15 players in this series,” Inzamam said.
He plans to make a late decision on his own fitness, having been unable to field during the opening game.
It is a similar situation with Moin and Kamran Akmal has been drafted into the squad as cover.
Pakistan are concerned about their batting, having been reduced to 6-3 at Multan before a century by Abdul Razzaq and a quickfire 58 by Shahid Afridi enabled to post a total of 292-7.
“Zimbabwe gave us an early wake-up call at Multan. We are having problems up front which we are trying to overcome,” Inzamam added.
The tourists, meanwhile, remain in a positive state of mind despite a run of 11 successive defeats since wicket-keeper Tatenda Taibu took on the captaincy in April.
Zimbabwe need a more convincing batting performance
He was thrown in at the deep end after 15 players turned their back on the national team in a dispute with the Zimbabwe Cricket Union.
“It’s tough when you throw players in at the deep end. But they have realised their mistakes and I hope we show an improved performance,” said Taibu.
“If we do the basics right and put Pakistan on the back foot, I still believe we have a chance to cause an upset in this series.”
Seamers Edward Rainsford and Tawanda Mupariwa are hoping for a recall, with Mluleki Nkala’s place possibly under threat after conceding 47 from six overs in Multan.
Sri Lanka, meanwhile, will arrive in Pakistan on Sunday to prepare for their opening match against the hosts in Karachi next Wednesday.
Pakistan (from): Inzamam-ul-Haq (capt), Moin Khan (wkt), Yousuf Youhana, Shoaib Malik, Abdul Razzaq, Younis Khan, Shahid Afridi, Mohammad Sami, Yasir Hameed, Shoaib Akhtar, Rana Naved-ul-Hasan, Misbah-ul-Haq, Salman Butt, Rao Iftikhar, Bazid Khan, Kamran Akmal (wkt).
Zimbabwe (from): Tatenda Taibu (capt, wkt), Dion Ebrahim, Brendan Taylor, Mark Vermeulen, Alester Maregwede, Vusimuzi Sibanda, Stuart Matsikenyeri, Tawanda Mupariwa, Mluleki Nkala, Tinashe Panyangara, Douglas Hondo, Edward Rainsford, Elton Chigumbura, Prosper Utseya, Alexandar Graeme Cremer.
Moin should be replaced by Akmal, Moin has lost his touch in batting and keeping. His days are over.
Akmal is an excellent keeper and a batsman. He performs really well whenever he gets a chance but for some reason...Go Akmal
Anyone broadcasting the match?
No Razzy, Shoaib, and Inzi. We definitely won't do as good.
^ But still good enough to give hapless zimbabweans a royal battering

Spoken like a true gentleman
BTW what time is the match, and I mean EST.
^-- At 12 Aejaz.
Sab: I don't know, infact, I don't want to say anything right now. Let's just see how it all goes. We've got an unpredictable team here. You don't wanna say anything till the last ball of the second innings coz, anything can happen with them. But let's just hope for the best I guess.
Anyone broadcasting??? ASN, where are you when we need you...
im dying to see this match, wanna c the hometown, I am going to be watching yasir and afridi closely because thats hometown for them also, yasir made 98 against india in Peshawar, i remember how sad i was when he got out!!! plz if any1 broadcasting let me know! thx!
Anyone broadcasting this match?
anyone? anyone? no one! ![]()
Flat batting track and we give them the batting first. I thought we were trying out our new players? Misbah, Bazid, Butt won't have much to do when Zimbabwe give them much work to do with a target of 100 odd.
Our think tank seems to outdo themselves with every game.
I can’t believe my eyes
Younis Khan is keeping the wickets???
please wake me up anyone!?!?!?
looks like Pakistan A is playing with zimbabwe....
what a pathetic match....
