Pakistan came from behind to beat australia 4-3 in a thrilling final of robo bank eight nation hockey tournament. Awesome performance by this young squad under tremendous pressure and the way they beat the favourites was a sight to behold. In group matches, pakistan topped the group to qualify for final amidst tough competition.
Pakistan v Spain 0-0
Pakistan v India 3 -1
Pakistan v Germany 5-0
Pakistan had to win against Germany by a three goal margin to finish top of their group and they did so by 5
In final, they were behind 2-3 and overturned the situation remarkably. They lead only once and when it mattered. And come to think of it australia was easily the best team as they beat the likes of Holland and Korea but pakistan were tactically briliant.
Hope by this performance they get a good boost ahead of this year’s champions trophy in India.

It's without any doubt the best performance in any tournament for a LONG time, last time we won something meaningful was back in 1996. Beating Australia in final was like beating them in cricekt TEST series. And it was no fluke as they played BRILLIANTLY throughout, reached finals by beating a strong german team by 5-0 :')

it was an amazing win...
pak also played well in azlan shah cup but
finiseh 3rd... cuz i think pak drew there last group match....
i don't remember the team but it was not a strong team..

Man well the Final was gudd .. as they were going neck to neck ..
but the League match wit hGermany man the 2nd half was worth Seeing .. Paki's Played their best moves of the Tournament .. A Damn Gudd Skills .. n Stick Work ..
