What’re the upcoming films which you guys think should do well? I’m pinning my hopes on “Bol” though I hope the more commercial (read moronic) films with names like “Son of Pakistan” (were they inspired from Son of the Mask?!) and “Bhai log” make good on their investments just because it’s important for films to work at this point…
Here’s hoping that Pakistani cinema finally shows some spark after many, many years!

Bol,Saltanat,Victim,Love mein gum and Bhai Log should all make a mark at the box office.

bol I reckon will do well since its a shoman film...others can't really say much...they sound like the typical lollywood type films. When will these "directors" realize that the audience is not really interested in watching movies like "bhai log"? who the heck came up with such a ridiculous title anyway?

i think cinema goers still want to see bhai log kind of stuff both in bolly and lollywood.

I feel the environment is there for the cinema to not "lift off" per se, but to definitely dwelve in the realm of functioning and caring feature films. The budgets are small, the resources are there but precious, frustrations are many which means ideas are many, and creativity is a plenty. I think these are good signs. the perfect coctail which can't be just manufactured! That's how hollywood got it's start.
