Pakistan women’s cricket team have beaten England by 1 run in the second Twenty20 match played at Haslegrave Ground, Loughborough on Friday. ARY News reported.

With this victory Pakistan leveled the two matches series.

Pakistan after winning the toss decided to bat first but England’s bowlers once again kept Pakistan in a vice-like grip and restricted to a low score of 116 runs.

Pakistan’s captain Sana Mir controlled the inning with Nain Abidi after losing early wickets with a crucial partnership of 55 runs while scoring 31 and 45 runs respectively.

Danielle Wyatt claimed 2 wickets for 30 runs while Danielle Hazell took two wickets conceding only 17 runs.

England’s top order collapsed as they were six down at the score of 52 but Arran Brindle played a wonderful knock of 39 runs off just 32 balls which brought an exciting end to the match.

England needed 13 in the last over with two wickets remaining, despite Brindle hard hitting they remained 2 runs short of the target.

Sadia Yousuf was prominent among the Pakistani bowlers with 3 wickets for 22 runs.
