I think CJ & his phitto's are lying that any police wala slapped him...They were trying to force him into the car to take him to the court...In literate words it is called "Resisting the Police"....which is a crime in its own sense...

Indeed it is the same in Urdu, but since I doubt you can understand the basics of either languages I suspect there's little hope of this going in.
Assumption is a bad thing. Getting personal always indicates one has lost an argument.
Just for your information Zakk is a doctor in UK and also a journalist. His understanding of both English and Urdu is probably far superior than yours.

What is going on? I just heard on TV that sheikh Rashid was saying that he heard that CJ children were stopped from going to school and that should not have happened. Well, is there that in constitution that CJ children cannot be stopped from going to school? If not, what Shaikh Rashid is talking about?
Doesn’t sheikh Rashid knows that there are many bhains (buffalos) in Pakistan, and some of that bhains (buffalos) may not have found that phrase in constitution that, ‘chief justice or anyone’s children cannot be stopped from going to school’, so they acted and stopped CJ children from going to school?

If you have been is USA or some other country ,you would be put in a JAIL for resisting the Law Agents…You do not RESIST the Police…It’s just like passively attacking them…But how come CJ who is supposedly sitting on the high seat of rightness would understand the laws of civilized…Those acts of corruption has blinded him & his supporters…

and if you MUST drag US and other countries into this, you might end up regretting this, then please also quote from relevant US constitution articles where it talks about Police tearing up serving CJ’s jacket and collar or forget that…thats too hard..lets just concentrate on finding that darned provision about a military president. I think that’ll be much easier

No wonder he's a journalist, since I doubt any hospital or institution would hire him. I could not care less in this instance what he is. If he says something stupid that he cannot defend, I will counter it with the correct argument. And just because he says he is a doctor and a journalist does not make him one. I could say I'm a Professor on here..of Consitutional Law. The number of times I've heard of internet doctor desis is unusually high. I could not care less what people claim to be on the internet. And it is no more personal than other people have gotten on here, what I have said. I'm not interested in drawing out this diversionary post of yours, so it'll be my last post on the subject of Zakk being an "internet doctor/journalist"

true. They can't even defend their CJ hero through the Constitution, because the Constitution is clear Musharraf can suspend him, and is obliged to in this case. The pathetic retorts of "show me the word "suspend" in the Constitution" is just childlike desperation in not being able to admit they are wrong in this case. Even the CJ doesnt know the Constitution That's the most pathetic bit of this judicial episode.

^RR it is only in Pakistan where we apply our laws according to the status of the person...If this would have happened in a Western country...This CJ would have been in much more trouble by now...

Actually it seems that people in Pakistan have never heard the word ‘suspension’ and ‘enquiry’ and do not know the meaning of these unknown words.
It seems that these ignorant Pakistanis were (are) getting confused with the meaning of word ‘suspension’ and believe that it means sacking (removed or fired). Similarly, these ignorant in Pakistan took the word ‘initiating enquiry’ with ‘getting declared guilty’.
That is why when President initiated enquiry on CJ and suspended him, these people considering ‘suspension’ as sacking and ‘initiating enquiry’ as declaring guilty, started misguiding other lesser Pakistani mortals (though as ignorant as them), that actually President has declared CJ guilty (initiated enquiry) and thus sacked CJ (suspended him).
Realising the problem of ignorance of English words, government came up with a suitable word in Urdu to replace the word suspension by gair-faal (inactive). Unfortunately, as long as government would not come with some suitable word in Urdu for them ignorant to understand, these Pakistani ignorant would stay believing that ‘initiating enquiry’ means ‘declaring guilty’.

Saleem, the issue of a policeman slapping someone without any reason would come under the umbrella of assault which has laws that deal with it and slapping doesn't need to be specifically mentioned obviously. For deposing a serving Chief Justice, this is the only law that deals with it as it specifically mentions this issue.
The same with shooting someone, that comes under laws for murder. Interpreting the constitution is not an easy task, and that is why we have experts and judges who deal with these issues. In Pakistan sadly, spirit of the law does not matter, only how much the dictator of day can get away with in using the constitution to his advantage.
