The president has obviously been wrongly advised to take the unconstitutional step of ‘sacking’ or ‘suspending’ the chief justice. He has no authority under the Constitution to do this.

Thank you for posting this Abbas. I hope Anees Jilani remains safe. Another legal expert who is proving the army lotas wrong, but like always some excuse will be made about how its good for Pakistan when fundamental laws are broken. Who are we the simple people to question uncle Mush and his army lotas? They always know what’s best for us.

Let us rejoice at the death of the Supreme Court as an institution!
