Not only in this series but for a while they have been doing this.
Pakistan should bring back Afridi to open the innings.He is a batsman who is capable of making scoreboard ticking,sky rocketing and is capable of mincing and milking any balling side in the world.You have got a great resource in hand still you are not making use of it.By asking him or placing him batting down the order,you are maiming his calibre.Thats all.....................
When will they learn to mend this ?
Afridi is no Gilchrist or Jayasuriya - both are proper batsmen who know how to slog as well
The only place where Afridi has had some success as an opener in one-dayers is the sub-continent
On seaming tracks where the ball moves around a lot and against quality swing bowlers like Pollock you won't give Afridi much of a hope to survive

I think the terrible mistake is the way they select who plays in each game.. I mean which bewaqoof ka bacha plays Malik, drops Yousuf, Gul & has Imran Nazir as 12th man in a pretty important game 
Lol, you also know who you are talking about. He is one who prefers himself to bowl ahead of Fawad also if that bkb* is out of form he should move himself down in the batting order.

Yeah.. I really don’t get any of those decisions, WHY would you do all those things when you’ve got an important game to play

Afridi is too temperamental in his batting to put him as opening batsman. He switches it on and off.
Pak team need someone who is consistent. Afridi is suited to one dayers.

^ they are. I think she meant that Afridi is only suited to one-dayers and we need someone more consistent overall (like in other formats of the game?) as an opener. Well, atleast thats what I think she meant.. Maroush can correct me if I’m wrong
