I really wonder when everyone grade this present Pakistan Cricket Team of not able to bring world cup home…Don’t you people think that this team is more experienced and talented than the finalist Pakistan team of 1999 World Cup…Every memebr present in that 1999 team is there in this team right from Saeed Anwar, Saqlain Mushtaq, ShahidAfridi, Waseem Akram, Waqar Younis, Yousuf Youhana, Inzamam ul Haq, Abdur Razaq…rather they are more experienced now. Any differnce is the absence of Saleem Malick and Ijaz Ahmed. Saleem Malick scored not more than 50 runs in all of 1999 world cup matches and Ijaz Ahmed was never be so technically sound…So what do you say of Pakistan’s Team chances???
Well if they play as a unit and according to thier true potnetial and Waqar doesnt make stupid decisions on the field , i mm pretty sure they will do well in the worldcup, yet again insha’allah 
Captaincy is a concern, as is the form of almost all our players. One has to wonder how many matches Akram will be good for and Shoaib will be battling health concerns. Saqi recently got hammered so he has to get his head in the right place. we've never done well in SA so let us see what happens. batting is always a concerns, who will open? we should choose a line up and stick with.
