Let me dial it down a bit for you. If a country is created for Islam, then the constitution is Islamic. If a country is created for Muslims of India, it is for people who practice the faith can do so without being discriminated and also for people of other people.

Then the question, the assumption here was that Muslims in undivided India could not practice their religion. Sections of Muslims (Aha medias) are discriminated in Pakistan for their belief not in India.

Mr. Jinnah never wanted a Islamic republic, but a republic for Muslims.

That means, if Sikh (instead of muslim) had chosen Jinah as leader Jinah would have created country them.
People dont forget to put Jinah’s secular version in thier arguments but being muslim country supporting non-muslim country to invade a muslim country could never been a vision of Jinah. Jinah might been a secular person himself but people of pakistan was not secular for that time nor to the date. If you believe that Jinah wanted a secular pakistan, we have to acknowledge that people were (and are) illitrated and ignorant of their leader’s vision. And u can verify this fact even today by measuring the gap of comunication and diference of interest between politicians and common people.
