The PCB are to blame for the pathetic non-display of batting that the Pakistani team have put up in Sharjah (I wonder if there were any bookies lurking around Pakistani team’s hotel - or am I being too cynical?!).
The fact is that Pakistan has always relied on natural talent (which is vastly overstated in my opinion anyway - I am talented but only when I’m competing against opponents that are in the same league as me) and this has been shown as totally inadequate in the modern game.
The PCB has no methodology in place that utilises the modern technology the way the Aussies, English and South Africans do. Neither do they analyse the opponents as others do (it’s a miracle just to get the Pakistani team together and out of night clubs, let alone discuss anyone else).
To cap it all, we have a fast bowler as a captain who wouldn’t even have the village eleven quacking in their spikes - let alone Matty Hayden et al. And the idiot still insists that he is 30 years old, when everyone knows he is nearer 40!
Then we have an off-spinner who can’t turn the ball into right-handers! He is more interested in bowling the ‘other one’. And everyone (apart from him and the English County players) knows he is only going to bowl that.
Oh and how can we forget the ‘experienced’ players who ‘opted out’ of the series against Australia? I wonder why that was?? Is it because we have an opener who is clearly scared as his left foot is nearer the square leg umpire when the bowler delivers? He obviously has no inclination to get in line - especially when he knew that McGrath, Lee and Gillespie were the bowlers. He has grown the WG Grace beard and now should just concentrate on religious duties as he has clearly been influenced by these matters more than cricket.
All in all, a pretty ramshackle outfit, which must rank as the worst prepared cricketing nation, and which aspires to being No. 2. But then again, what can you expect from a team whose cricket coach once parted the pearls that ‘look boys you are all professional and you should just go out there and play’. I wonder if Buchanan, Fletcher or even Wright could have come up with these pearls.

Everybody in the right frame of mind agrees dat Waqar is finished but these lt wont agree coz they dont like Wasim and if they agree dat Waqars finished then they will hav 2 agree dat Wasim's right but they wont do that! He got 4 wickets in the match but so wat! His bowling average in the series is close 2 40! Why did he only pick 2 wkts in the 1st 2 matches wen the series was still alive? Well no one is Agianst wasim and just tell me nayone, HAs anyone got any Five wicktes haul in test matches apart from Shaoib, i mean recently...
The reason is that we got so many strike bolweres and everyone chips in with 2-3 wickets... We are not like sri lanka that has only murali is main strike bowler!! In our team even Razzaq chips in with 2-3 wikcst athats why most of our bowlers dont get five 0r 6 wickets haul!!
Well im not saying that this team has nothing left in it…I do hope with the bottom of my heart that Pakistan do bounce back with a bang ! But the way things have been going since the series in Morrcoo and Kenya...There isn't many good things you can say about the this team. First thing, Waqar needs to be kicked out, or at least, he shudn't be the captain. Yes he used to be good, but not anymore. He will get hammered by the good teams. Its not all about the wickets, its also about consistency, and thats what Waqar doesn't have anymore...Also, he made stupid decisions starting form Moroco...and Im sure you all agree with that...I mean, if he can't perform or make any good decisions anymore...then he doesnt deserve to be the captain...it will only do good to the team, not bad
