Bangledesh has similar size population of pakistan on a much smaller piece of land.
Why is people obsessed with reducing population is the fact you yourselves are so selfish and you fear you losing some kind of material wealthin the future. In europe they crying out for population increase there future depends on increased immigration despite the racism they can't do without it. In america there immigration is massive even majority of it is illegal. So here they do not have problem of population in japan they do not have population problem why because thye use these people as labour as a workforce making there economies dynamic with the ideas of these people businesses flourish etc.
But in pakistan the economy is just a murmur if the poulations where utilized this issue of population control or theres too many pakis would be thrown out the window with the rubbish!
pakistan’s population density may be half of india that does not mean
it can afford twice the present population . you need water not just land.
you can compare the water avialbility of different nations.

Anywayz, as for ak47s last post... There are alot of starving and dying Pakistanis, and you can always see a woman carrying 5 to 10 children, and trust me, its not easy to raise a family with Rs.1,000 or 2,000 per month. The population problem is grave indeed, and it needs to be stopped. The khalifah will face similar problems, if (in one of a millionth chances) he comes to power. Pakistan has a serious population problem, and I have to agree with rvikz here, we need to take care of it like wise men, not just label this as a typical (blame it on america) type excuse.
Pakistan in just one example had surplus of wheat last year so the issue of starving pakistanis should not exist it is clear problem of distribution not lack of resources.
The economic system of islam focuses on the distribution of available resources and goods. Where people are given there basic needs of food, clothing and shelter and then they can have there luxury goods on top.
Whereas the corrupt capitalist system just focuses on production production and tells everybody for themselves and you end up with some people living in mansions and driving ferraris while others starve and live in mud huts in survival of the fittest jungle!
Ak47, I suggest you refer to the thread about 'Population control in Pakistan, being an American Plot to stop Muslims from taking over the world, or the US, something like that, which was created by some member of the Hizb-ul-tahrir, and have a look at some of the replies, as the hizb members also said something similar to that, and have a look at the good answers given to them by people like old lahori, PCG etc...
