kewn bhai, when did Inzamam called him names? I’m sure you have read what Inzamam said above, how can a player play on his own terms in a team game? 
I think they should also take Irshad with them just in case there is another “injury”. Yasir’s exclusion is ridiculous, the guy has played only one inning in the Test match and is already booked for return

So let me get this straight. The most successful bowler Kaneria and one of the most successful batsmen Kamal get sent back BUT that no good talentless parchi Hafeez with an avge of 15 and strike rate of 50 gets a recall despite repeated embarrassments in Australia? Riiiiiight.

But I i am as baffled as you regarding inclusion of Hafeez. Seems like that we will have to bear Hafeez in the playing eleven as long as Malik is not allowed to bowl. I REALLY hope that they dont sacrifice one batsman just because Hafeez can bowl a few overs.

I think Younis Khan should level up his game further and add bowling in his arsenal, after all he also tried coming in as wicket keeper, I'm sure a dedicated person like him can takeup that job and keep players like M Hafeez far from the team.

^ It might not happen after all. Though like before Younis will have his critics that he doesnt have a place in one day side. Though I think he is a capable performer in one day format, our current oneday outfit is such that apart from Inzi youhana and one of the openers, everyone can do bowl/bat or bat/keep (in case of Kamran). This hihglights the fact that how important a player is Malik in one day arena.
Most likely option could be that Younis keeps and bats which is fine with me.

hahaha aap bhi ik kamal insaan hai RD bhai 
aapko har problem ke peechay shoaib ka team mein na hona nazar aata hai. aap tub kahan hotay hain jub shoaib apni harkaton ki wajah se match fitness bhi kho deta hai. kisi teenager ka tou shoaib ke liye jazbaati hona samjh aata hai, lekin aap se ese analysis ki koi expectation nahi thi.

Shoaib is not fully fit, so for his career and the upcoming WI tour, he is rested.
As far as SHAHID Nazir is concerned, we will see if he comes with something special or is just another Sami.

Selecting Hafeez is a decent move
He is only there because he is an off spinner. Since Malik can't bowl we need a off spinning "All rounder". Granted Hafeez is a very poor mans all rounder and I wouldnt expect many runs from him
As for Kaneria, I think dropping him for ODI's is dead obvious. There would be no point in playing 2 leg spinners on an ODI team and I would definitly rather play Afidi than Kaneria since Kaneria cant bat at all.

WTF!!! Only God knows what goes on in the minds of the selection board.
This series isn’t just about giving younsters a chance to play but also about pride and Pakistan’s position as a strong cricketing nation. They have to play tried and tested players. Hameed is a proven opener.

Shahid Afridi
Kamran Akmal
Naved-ul-Hasan
Shahid Nazir
Mohammad Sami
We will have batting going down to number 9 (I know Naved is no genuine batsman, but atleast he is not afraid to swing his bat :) )
