Now that it has become repeatedly clear that the Pakistani military, government and intelligent agencies either have parts of them collaborating with terrorists or are incapable of preventing the terrorists from attacking any location, how can you guys be certain that:
- some group within the nuclear command will not let the terrorists get to the nukes or nuclear material?
- some group will not use it in Karachi or Lahore or Islamabad to settle score?
- some group will not smuggle it across the border kasab style?
While until recently I have maintained that Pakistan military is capable of maintaining a tight enough security leash on the nukes and on the terrorists, the number of attacks on itself, with today’s attack on naval airbase being only the latest, has shown that we cannot assume that.
Somebody / some groups inside your military and intelligence are actively collaborating with the terrorists and supplying them more than just information.
It would be wise for Pakistan to see help from China & America to create a 3-party security structure for the nukes and nuclear material.
