The most Pakistan can gain from the upcoming series is 10 points, only if we whitewash England 3-0 which is highly unlikley. But even a series win will take our rating to 102, well clear of Sri Lanka, South and New Zealand but well below India. To break into the top 3 we will need to perform consistently for some time. Aussies are still far ahead of the pack.
Our first aim should be to clinch the series and close the gap between us and the other higher ranked teams. We are definatley a better side then our ranking and one good series will place us 3 places higher. Best of luck, InshAllah by the end of this series we would be talking about closing the gap on India and England.
