KARACHI: Bilawal, the eldest child of Benazir Bhutto and Asif Ali Zardari, was formally registered as a Pakistani citizen and voter soon after he turned 18. He got his computerised national identity card (CNIC) and vote certificate in February.
Bilawal’s vote was registered in Benazir’s hometown of Larkana instead of Nawabshah, home to his father. PPP Larkana president MPA Ayaz Soomro said Bilawal’s vote was registered in union council Naudero under Benazir’s directives. The union council is part of National Assembly constituency NA-166, from where both Benazir and her father Zulfikar Ali Bhutto were elected. Soomro said Bilawal’s CNIC was prepared through the Pakistani embassy in Dubai. A PPP leader said Bilawal would not enter politics until he completed his education. Another source close to the Bhutto family said that Benazir had started Bilawal’s political training. “Bilawal only speaks English fluently but he can speak or understand Urdu and Sindhi,” he said.

KARACHI: Fatima Bhutto, the granddaughter of Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, will be eligible to contest the next general elections, but is unlikely to rival her maternal aunt Benazir.
“Next month Fatima Bhutto will be 25 years old. Her educational credentials are equivalent to an MA,” PPP official Hamid Alyani told Daily Times on Sunday. “She qualifies to contest the elections for the national and provincial assemblies.”
Fatima is daughter of the late Murtaza Bhutto, who founded the Shaheed Bhutto faction of the PPP in 1995. Ghinwa Bhutto, who leads the PPP-SB, said her daughter would join politics but it was premature to say anything yet. “People made [ZA] Bhutto the leader. They will decide Fatima Bhutto’s political future,” she said.
MNA Anwar Bhutto said Benazir would be happy to see Fatima in politics. “Ms Benazir Bhutto wants both scions of Murtaza Bhutto to enter politics and she loves them very much,” said MNA Anwar Bhutto.

May be this Bilawal turn out to be a "Moosa" in "Pheron's house"! That's the only way I think this nation can be saved! Otherwise poeple can not get liberated from these gods on earth.
Re: Pakistan’s next Bhutto Prime Ministers in waiting?
^True. But unfortunately thats wishful thinking too.
More snakes on the way…and the tough part is, we still havent been able to tame or get rid of the elder snakes…
Re: Pakistan’s next Bhutto Prime Ministers in waiting?
Whats wrong with u? Calling little children snakes? These kids have harmed no one, they are like any other child and do not deserve to be judged for what their elders did. If this is the standard then whenever a bomb kills innocent civilians then we all sud remain silent.

I didnt say whether they were venomous or not yet. We can wait and see, and of course hoping for the best is a good thing.
Re: Pakistan's next Bhutto Prime Ministers in waiting?
Why blame Bhutto or any other family. It is the people who vote them into power. Don't vote for them and they will disappear. After all they do not wear a wardi and won't be coming knocking on the door to take over power illegally.
Re: Pakistan’s next Bhutto Prime Ministers in waiting?
Fatima Bhutto is 25 years old - the same age when BB took up the mantle of her father. No wonder BB is doing some desperate dealing to get back to Pakistan and into some position of influence. Otherwise Fatima B is well placed to takeover, and BB will be all history.
Re: Pakistan's next Bhutto Prime Ministers in waiting?
ehsan bhai thats the real problem...in Pakistan...not political sytem like UK ..USA or any other free coutry...here the big zimidaars...land-lords are all in all...from 1857 onwards..having hundreds of murabbas...and people lliving in thier villages are just "kammi"...and servants...
and these servants..and poor people of villages do not even think of votting except what thier vadera and chaudry says....
jahalat based elections..are usual in pakistan..no sense of vote power ...and its effectiveness....
