God bless Great President Musharaf, the Greatest Pakistani leader since Quaid-e-Azam. :)
Indeed a job well done steering us through the waves of 911 storm. If it were Nawaz (not Musharraf) in power, Islamabad would have looked like Jalalabad today.
Arey aap itney din sey ghayeb they, I was getting worried mey samjha aap ko buhat sadma puhuncha ho ga. I think with the non-existent support that great Musharraf has, its about time you make him the best leader of Pakistan, even miles ahead of Qauid-e-Azam. Bus ab thorey din hain Aalsi bhai :) Us ke baad Musharraf ka band bajjey ga tikka kar :)

Spock bhaijan. I am flattered that I was missed. :)
Mashallah, the only support our dictator seems to be getting is from Israel and India. :)
and then u can also wander why we have people who consider him the most patriotic Pakistani and also best thing happened for Pakistan... Just a gr8 puzzle for me :)
The latest word in all US media is that some Govt. Officials and one of the people from Musharraf's inner circle has said, he will resign by Sunday evening. A deal has been brokered, he would like to retire to his Farmhouse in Islamabad. He will not face any charges once he steps down and he will be looked over as a bad part of Pakistan's recent history. Period.
How true it is, we'll find out in just 2 days.
Here's my perspective on the whole scenario:
I'm all for his resignation. Frankly he should have been impeached the very week new Govt. came into power, but oh well....
I am NOT in the favor of anyone forcing him out of the country. He is a Pakistani citizen and has all the right to stay in his home country. No matter what.
This exile culture has just got to stop. Pakistan has to absorb its ex-politicians and allow them to stay within the country so they have a chance to rectify their mistakes. Miracles do happen. Today he's regarded as a dictator turned President, tomorrow he might have an awakening and become the biggest charity personnel the country has seen.
We have got to stop sending our ex-officials to live in other countries. It has become a joke. Let him stay in Pakistan, give him due process, Justice starts with those who have been unjust and set an example that will be followed by generations to come.
Although I agree with you that exile culture is bad, Musharaf will be a prime target of every jihadi outfit in Pakistan. Providing continuous security to him will be a very expensive and very complicated affair. For his sake, he may just want to live elsewhere, where his life is not in so much danger. Of course, when his time comes, it comes. But why commit suicide (i.e. knowingly put your life in extra-ordinary and probably avoidable danger).
Another important thing that came out yesterday was the meeting of Musharraf with ataarni general malik qayooom. Surprisingly, qayooom told mushy that if hes to be impeached, it cannot be challenged in the supreme court! This is good news because mush has his handpicked judges sitting in the SC. Musharraf, before his meeting with qayyum though he could challenge the impeachment in the SC, but was reminded that in such a matter, the parliament in supreme.
Musharraf is addressing the nation in about 2 hours. there is a huge possibility that he may resign. Can ASN or anyone else broadcast the speech for us at GS??
If Musharraf resign Pakistan will be worse situation, civil war. We can kiss good bye to Frontier province and Blochistan. Zaradri is going to sell the gwader to USA.
If Musharraf dissolve assembly, he should put both Zardari and Ganja in jail for rest of their life and banned all the corrupted politician from Pakistani politics.
